Special Excursion from Washington, DC to the Castleton Festival on July 16

We are delighted to announce a special evening during the inaugural Castleton Festival. Thanks to the generous support of UBS Financial Services, Inc., a leading sponsor of the Festival, we are able to offer a “door-to-door” excursion from Washington, DC to Rappahannock County, Virginia on Thursday, July 16, 2009 for one of the Festival’s centerpiece opera performances: John Gay’s theatrical landmark The Beggar’s Opera. Traval via luxury motorcoach, with music, champagne and hors d’oeuvres enroute. Round- trip comfort, a buffet dinner, and a captivating opera performance make for a perfect evening!

Date: Thursday, July 16, 2009 

Departure: 4:00pm sharp. Festival Coach departs from National Presbyterian Church, 4101 Nebraska Ave NW 
Champagne/Refreshments will be served on board
One of the Castleton Festival young artists will be a guest host on the trip 

In Castleton:
6:00pm: Arrival and Buffet Supper at the Theatre House
7:30pm: Performance of The Beggar’s Opera conducted by Lorin Maazel 

Return: 10:30pm: Festival Coach departs Castleton for National Presbyterian Church 
Dessert & Coffee will be served on board
